Giovanni Fieschi

Giovanni Fieschi (* in the 13th or 14th century; † December 1384 in Rome ) was a cardinal of the Catholic Church .

Coming from the Genoese noble family Fieschi , to which Popes Innocent IV and Hadrian V belonged, he was chaplain of the Pope and auditor of the Rota Romana . Elected Bishop of Vercelli in 1348 , he received papal confirmation as bishop on January 12, 1349 . Pope Urban VI. created him on September 13, 1378 cardinal priest of San Marco .
