Giovanni Serafini (Cardinal)
Giovanni Serafini (born October 15, 1786 in Magliano Sabina , † February 1, 1855 in Rome ) was an Italian cardinal .
On January 27, 1843, Pope Gregory XVI created him cardinal and appointed him cardinal deacon of Santi Vito, Modesto e Crescenzia . On April 16, 1846 he moved to the titular diaconia Santa Maria in Cosmedin . From June 14th to 16th, 1846 he took part in the conclave , which Pope Pius IX. chose.
He was the uncle of Cardinal Luigi Serafini .
