Giovanni Spinola (born July 31, 1935 in Gravedona ) is a former Italian helmsman in rowing .

At the European Championships in 1964 rowed Franco De Pedrina , Giuseppe Galante , Emilio Trivini and Renato Bosatta with Giovanni Spinola in the coxed four , the Italians reached the third place behind the boats from the Soviet Union and the Federal Republic of Germany. At the Olympic Games in 1964 , the three medal winners of the European Championships won their preliminary run. In the finals, the German boat won ahead of the Italians and the Dutch, while the Soviet European champions came in fifth behind the French.

The 1.65 m tall Giovanni Spinola rowed for the Canottieri Falck from Dongo on Lake Como.
