Gravedona is a parliamentary group and seat of the Italian municipality ( comune ) Gravedona ed Uniti in the province of Como in Lombardy .

geography

Gravedona is located on the upper part of Lake Como on the state road 340 and the provincial road 4. Gravedona comprises the districts: Naro , Negrana , San Carlo , Segna , Traversa , Trevisa . Neighboring towns and communities are Colico ( LC ), Consiglio di Rumo , Domaso , Dosso del Liro and Peglio .

history

Gravedona was an independent municipality until January 2011 and merged with the municipalities Consiglio di Rumo and Germasino on February 4, 2011 to form the new municipality of Gravedona ed Uniti.
