Girolamo Priuli (born January 26, 1476 , † July 7, 1547 ) was a Venetian merchant, banker and chronicler.

From 1493 to 1498 he lived as a merchant in London . In Venice he then ran the Priuli trading business with his brothers Francesco and Vincenzo , and was primarily responsible for financial transactions. On March 15, 1507 he opened his own bank on the Rialto, which earned him the nickname "dal banco". In 1513 he had to give up his banking business. In the following years he was involved in various financial disputes, in 1517 he even spent a few months in prison. In spite of all this, he was still very wealthy and appeared as a donor of decorations in church buildings.

His original eight volumes of Diarii (diaries), which cover the period from April 1, 1494 to July 22, 1512, are significant historical sources . Seven volumes are still preserved in the original, the third volume (from mid-August 1506 to May 1509) has been lost.
