Gisela Reetz

Gisela Reetz (born December 26, 1969 in Leonberg ) is a German political officer . Since December 2019 she has been State Secretary in the Saxon State Ministry for Energy, Climate Protection, Environment and Agriculture .

Reetz studied law in Trier and Heidelberg before successfully passing the second state examination in Saxony in 1996. She then worked in the Saxon Ministry of the Environment and accompanied the merger with the Ministry of Agriculture in the Biedenkopf II cabinet as a personal advisor . In 2003 Reetz took on professional tasks in the Saxon State Ministry of the Interior . In the Leipzig office of the State Office of Saxony , she was head of division from 2004 for building law and from 2012 also responsible for monument protection.

Reetz was appointed State Secretary in the Saxon State Ministry for Energy, Climate Protection, Environment and Agriculture on December 20, 2019 by Prime Minister Michael Kretschmer .
