Gisela Wülffing

Gisela Wülffing (* 1946 in Bonn ) is a German publicist and women's rights activist . Wülffing has belonged to the Frankfurt group of founders of the Berlin daily taz since 1977 , of which she has been a member of the board of trustees since 2009. She was one of the skeptics in the controversial “Arms for El Salvador” campaign of taz in 1980 and was the opponent of Hans-Christian Ströbele in this dispute .

From 1986 to 2008 she was the press spokesperson for the representative for women's affairs in Hessen, Wiesbaden. From 1991 to 2002 she was responsible for public relations in the Hessian Ministry of Social Affairs in Wiesbaden. Between 2003 and 2008 she headed the women's policy department in the Hessian Ministry of Social Affairs.

Co-winner of the Elisabeth Selbert Prize 1983.
