Gisela Wenz-Hartmann
Gisela Wenz-Hartmann (born August 15, 1904 in Culmsee , † 1979 ) was a German writer . Until 1955 she wrote several books that are part of the homeland novel , as well as children's literature and short stories.
After the Second World War , the family saw that interest in this literature died away and interest in other literature awoke. Your work is still evidence of the times. She lived for a long time in Halle, where she worked as a craftsperson and also wrote the books. Since 1965 she lived in Stuttgart .
In 1937 the book Lebensbild Germanischer Frauen was published , in which a relatively strong idea of German women is presented. The Nazi regime supported these books.
