Gisela Zahlhaas

Gisela Zahlhaas (born January 18, 1945 in Altötting ) is a German classical archaeologist .

Gisela number Haas studied from 1964 at the University of Munich Classical Archeology, Art History and Prehistory and Early History , interrupted by a semester at the University of Freiburg in 1966. In 1971, she in Munich with Erwin Bielefeld with a dissertation on ancient metal buckets doctorate .

Until her retirement, she was responsible for the Mediterranean and Orient departments as a curator at the State Archaeological Collection in Munich and organized numerous exhibitions.
