Gisle Meininger Saudland

Gisle Meininger Saudland (born July 8, 1986 in Flekkefjord ) is a Norwegian politician of the right-wing Fremskrittspartiet (FrP). He has been a member of parliament in Storting since 2017 .

Life

After graduating from high school in 2005, Saudland began studying political science at Agder University. He then studied other subjects there until 2010, but did not complete them. From 2010 to 2012 he worked as head of sales at a car dealer, then until 2017 he was manager of a hardware store in Flekkefjord . Between 2007 and 2015 he sat in the local parliament of this municipality. He was then a member of the Fylkesting of the then Vest-Agder province until 2017 .

In the 2017 general election, Saudi Arabia entered the Norwegian national parliament in Storting for the first time . There he represents the constituency of Vest-Agder and he was initially a member of the Energy and Environment Committee. In January 2020, he was transferred to the Labor and Social Committee.
