Gita Dodowa
Gita Dodowa ( Bulgarian Гита Ванива Додова ; born May 2, 1982 in Wraza ) is a Bulgarian triple jumper .
Career
Dodova landed his first international success at the European Athletics Junior Championships in 2001 in Grosseto, Italy . With a personal best of 13.23 meters, she qualified for the final competition and was seventh there.
After continuously increasing her personal best, she jumped 14.24 meters at a sports festival in Argos Orestiko in July 2008 , her personal best to this day. It thus fulfilled the B standard for the Summer Olympics to be held in Beijing in August 2008 . She could not confirm her performance there and missed qualifying for the Olympic final with 13.53 meters.
