Live and act

Giulio Angolo, like his brother Battista Angolo , was trained by Francesco Torbido , known as Il Moro. The brothers therefore named themselves with the addition of del Moro .

Giulio Angolo worked mainly in Venice, where his works can be seen in churches and in the Doge's Palace . The painting St. Mark advising the three magistrates of the state treasury on arming and recruiting the naval militias in the Gallerie dell'Accademia in Venice dates from around 1587.

The youngest brother of the Angolo brothers, Girolamo, also became a painter, but achieved little notoriety.
