Giuseppe Di Martino

Giuseppe Di Martino (born March 18, 1921 in Pescara , † July 27, 1994 in Naples ) was an Italian theater maker and film director .

Life

Di Martino worked for many years with Guido Salvini ; both in his theater productions, often for the stage in Catania , in his few films he acted as assistant and screenwriter .

As an independent director, Di Martino recorded some television works in the 1960s as well as three cinema productions of mild interest between 1949 and 1953, which he also wrote under the name "GD Martin".

Di Martino's main work, however, lies in his numerous theater productions, which, after working in Syracuse in 1962 (after Euripides ), he continued for the "Teatro Stabile Catania" in the 1980s and 1990s, or the "Teatro Sannazaro" in Naples. submitted.
