Giuseppe Pancera (born January 10, 1901 in Castelnuovo del Garda , † April 19, 1977 ibid) was an Italian cyclist .

Giuseppe Pancera was a professional racing driver from 1925 to 1934. His greatest successes were a second place in the Tour de France in 1929 and in the Giro d'Italia in 1928 (behind Alfredo Binda ). In total, he took part ten times in the Giro, four times in the Tour and five times in the Vuelta a España .

In 1927 Pancera won the 540 kilometer race Rome-Naples-Rome with a 430 kilometer single run and 70 minutes ahead of the runner-up. In 1926 and 1927 he won the Coppa Bernocchi . In 1927 he was third in the Italian road championship and in 1931 in the Paris-Brest-Paris race .

Before starting his cycling career, Pancera worked as a journeyman baker. At the age of 33, Pancera ended his racing career, married and opened a café. In 1969 he lost a leg in an accident.
