Giuseppe Rolando
Giuseppe Rolando (* 1931 in Canelli ) is an Italian film director , screenwriter and film producer .
Rolando first appeared in 1949 with a documentary about the actor Ettore Petrolini . Like all of his films, which he presented with his Rolfilm Produzioni , which he founded in 1959 , he produced and directed his self-written films independently, which led to a correspondingly low number of copies for distribution. He often looked for his subjects in the religious area. After Simona , which he produced in 1973 and left the direction of Patrick Longchamps , the Don Bosco biography Giovanni, il ragazzo del sogno followed in 1987 .
