Giuseppe Signorelli

Giuseppe Signorelli (born June 24, 1947 in Casigno ) is a former Italian enduro athlete . He was twice a member of the Italian national team, which won the silver vase at the international six-day race.

Career

Giuseppe Signorelli began active enduro sports in 1964. In 1968 he won the silver vase at the international six-day race with the team in San Pellegrino Terme, Italy . In 1969 he was first in the class up to 100 cm³ with a Morini . He was also fourth in his class at the Valli Bergamasche .

In 1972 he was fourth in the class up to 100 cm³ with a SWM in the Valli Bergamasche. In 1974 he won this race on a 175cc Gilera . In the Enduro European Championship he finished second behind Erwin Schmider . With a 75 cm³ Puch he won the Valli Bergamasche again in 1975. At the international six-day race in Värnamo , Sweden , he won the silver vase classification with the national team.

In 1979 he was third in the Valli Bergamasche with a Fantic with 125 cm³ and first in 1979 with a 75 cm³ Fantic. With the same motorcycle he finished second in the European Championship in 1979. In 1980 he finished second in the Valli Bergamasche with a 75 cm³ Fantic.

During his active time he took part in the International Six Day Race fifteen times and won nine gold medals, two silver medals and one bronze medal.
