The magazine Glückauf - Berg- und Hüttenmännische Zeitschrift was published for the first time in 1865 as a magazine of the association for the mining interests in the Oberbergamts district Dortmund . It had various subtitles. It was published by VGE Verlag , formerly Glückauf Verlag , until 2011 .
In 2012 it was published under the title Mining Report - Glückauf: Trade journal for mining, raw materials and energy published by Wiley, Ernst & Sohn.
In 2012 the magazine was merged with two other magazines (“Felsbau magazin” and “mining reporter”); the magazine "mining + geo" has been published since 2013.
