content

Mutluluk tells the story of an honor killing . Cemal is chosen to kill his cousin Meryem, who was dishonored by desecration, far away from the village where archaic laws still apply. However, not least because of the clash with the modern, urban side of Turkey, which is shown, among other things, in the third main character of the book, the university professor and dropout Irfan, this project develops into an odyssey .
