The Gladsaxe Stadion is a football stadium in the Danish town of Søborg in the capital region . It is the home stadium of the AB Gladsaxe football club and has a capacity of 13,507 seats, 8,000 of which are covered. It is mainly used for soccer games and is part of the Copenhagen Sport & Eventpark . The plant in the Gladsaxe municipality consists of a. from training grounds for soccer, hockey, tennis, badminton, beach volleyball, handball, base and softball as well as a restaurant and a hostel .
Construction of the facility began in 1938 under the name Gladsaxe Idrætspark Marielyst ; the opening took place on May 26, 1940. The last renovation began on November 16, 1998 and the facility was then inaugurated under its new name, Gladsaxe Stadium, on September 12, 1999.
