GlasBlasSing is a German music group that makes brass music on bottles filled with water to different heights or on completely empty bottles and calls this bottle music . She has performed in Germany, Austria and Switzerland since 2003.

Band history

GlasBlasSing was created in 2002 when David Möhring, Andreas Lubert, Frank Wegner and Jörg Wegner came up with the idea of ​​making music on bottles at a youth musical.

Since 2003 they have appeared as street musicians in Berlin . In the next few years they played in pedestrian zones all over Germany, Belgium, France and Holland. There were also stage appearances.

In the spring of 2006 GlasBlasSing made bottle music their profession and have since toured Germany, Austria and Switzerland with the Liedgut auf Leergut program (premiere October 2006). In October 2009, her second stage program, Keine Macht den Dosen, premiered at Quatsch Comedy Club Berlin. The following December it was also performed at the 18th Arosa Humor Festival .

On February 12, 2011, the band appeared as part of the city bet on the show Wetten dass . In 2011 and 12 they produced their own TV show Die GlasBlasSing Quintett Show on zdf kultur / 3sat, six episodes with Michael Hatzius (Die Echse) and guests. Since September 2013 they have been on the road with their third program Men, Bottles, Sensations . The premiere took place in the Berlin " Wühlmäusen ". Since 2015 they have been on tour with the Volle Pulle - Bottle Music XXL program . In November and December they show their Christmas program Sweeter the bottles never sound . Since 2018 the four of them have been touring with their program Flaschmob under the name GlasBlasSing.
