Glas Slavonije (German “Voice of Slavonia”), published in Osijek , is the local daily newspaper with the highest circulation in the economically weak region of Eastern Slavonia in the far north-east of Croatia . It is particularly aimed at readers in the right half of the political spectrum .

The newspaper is said to be still close to the far-right president of the Osijek city parliament, Branimir Glavaš . In 1991, Glavaš forced the then editor-in-chief Drago Hedl and the later member of the editorial board of the left-wing liberal satirical Feral Tribune at gunpoint to leave the paper.
