Despite its unspoilt nature, the area is well developed for tourists and offers over 300 km of signposted hiking trails and the possibility of canoeing. There are primitive overnight accommodations for both hikers and paddlers in various places in the forest with open wooden huts, fire pits and outhouses . The village of Lenungshammar , which is located in the middle of the nature reserve, also offers a campsite, a supermarket and canoe rental. To stay in the Glaskogen you have to purchase a visitor card, the proceeds of which will be used for the care and maintenance of the reserve.
