Glass art workshop Tanja Schölzel
The Schölzel glass painting, also known as the Tanja Schölzel glass art workshop , is a glass painting company with a glass art workshop and studio building in Berlin-Mahlsdorf at the address Rotdornallee 1 , which was opened in the late 1920s .
History and description
In 1928, the academically trained glass and church painter Waldemar Peschel opened the business at its current location in the building specially designed for glass painting.
In the third generation, the glass painter Tanja Schölzel, born in 1971, took over the management of the Germany-wide glass art workshop. In addition to its own creations, the company has also worked with other artists on numerous projects. In addition to hand-painted glass paintings and lead glazing, drafts, reconstructions and restorations of glass objects, the range of services also includes "fusing" (glass melting work) and sandblasting, as well as insulating glazing and double glazing as protection for lead glass .
