Glasstec

The Glasstec (formerly GlasTec, acronym of Glass and Tec hnology) is the world's largest trade fair for glass production and glass processing. The event has been held in Düsseldorf every two years since 1970 .

Exhibition content

Glasstec shows products and services from the following categories: glass production , processing and refinement as well as raw materials, tools, machines, measuring technology and services from this area. Further, art glass and solar technology presented.

Special show

The special show glass technology live is dedicated to new technologies and applications of the material glass, especially in the field of architecture. In recent years, the exhibition was conceived and designed by Professor Stefan Behling from the London architecture firm Foster + Partners and the Institute for Building Construction at the University of Stuttgart . The special show is accompanied by a specialist symposium and an architects' congress.
