The Grenzebach Group is an international family business in the field of plant construction and automation technology and offers systems for solving manufacturing and automation tasks.
The Grenzebach Group's three divisions, 'Glass', 'Building Materials' and 'General Industry', serve the glass and building materials manufacturing industry, international logistics groups , the automotive , aviation and food industries . Mechanical and thermal process engineering are also among the fields of application.
The company employs around 1,500 people at four production sites and companies in Germany , the USA , China , Belgium , Brazil , Indonesia , Italy , India , Russia and Taiwan .
Foundation and history
Grenzebach Maschinenbau GmbH was founded in Hamlar , Bavaria, in 1960 with seven employees . At the beginning, a production facility for conveyor technology was set up. The turnover in the first year was around 500,000 euros. In 1988 the first subsidiary was founded in the USA. The first branch in China followed in 1998. Grenzebach has its own production plants in Germany, the USA and China.
