Glatsiologov Island ( English ; Russian Остров Гляциологов Ostrow Gljaziologow , German 'Glaciologist Island ' ) is an island off the Knox coast of the East Antarctic Wilkesland . It's in the Bunger Hills .
Scientists on a Soviet Antarctic expedition mapped it and named it in 1956. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia put the name in a partial translation into English.
