Glauco Segovia

Glauco Segovia Zamora (born February 5, 1927 in Vergara , Treinta y Tres Department , † 1986 in Montevideo ) was a Uruguayan politician .

Glauco Segovia successfully completed his studies in Montevideo in 1952. He was a lawyer by profession and also worked as a journalist. Segovia, who belonged to the Partido Colorado , had in the 37th and 38th legislative periods as representative of the department of Montevideo from February 15, 1955 to June 10, 1958 for the Sublema Batllismo -15 and from March 1, 1959 to February 14 In 1963 he held a titular mandate as a member of the Cámara de Representantes for the Sublema Por la Unión -15 . This parliamentary membership was interrupted by the ownership of the Ministry of the Interior from June 10, 1958 to February 28, 1959. In the 39th legislative period he then held a titular mandate as senator in the Cámara de Senadores from February 15, 1963 to February 14, 1967 . In 1967 he was also director of Montevideo.
