The KRC 810 T track construction rail crane is a slewing rail crane manufactured by Kirow Ardelt ( Kirow until 2008 ) in Leipzig . The heavy auxiliary vehicle is listed as a railway service vehicle with the German series number 9419. Unlike the emergency cranes ( series 732 ) from DB Netz , the cranes from the DB Bahnbau Gruppe do not have a DB series designation.
Type 810 was developed for converting points with concrete sleepers. They are also suitable for the installation of medium-weight bridge elements and as accident cranes for medium load cases. The maximum load moment of the crane is between 500 and 900 tm.
The cranes are also known as railway slewing cranes and are sometimes labeled with "EDK" and a three-digit number.
Structure and technical data
The maximum load capacity of the crane, which weighs up to 135 tonnes, is up to 125 tonnes when supported and 90 tonnes when free-standing. At the maximum radius, the crane can still lift 28.5 tons. The largest possible hook height is 18 meters and the maximum projection in front of the buffer is 15 meters.
The telescopic arm allows working in a radius between 6.5 and 24.5 meters. In contrast to previous cranes, it can also be used in the zero position without dismantling the overhead lines . The counterweight is also extendable. The crane also has a support.
Depending on the year of construction, the maximum speed is 20–30 km / h when self-propelled and 100–120 km / h in a train. The manufacturer also calls newer vehicles multi-taskers . The cranes each include a counter truck and a crane protection truck (series 9320). The permissible trailer load is 80 t.
