Glen Murray

Glen Murray (born October 26, 1957 in Montreal , Québec ) is a Canadian politician .

In his school days, Murray attended John Abbott College and studied at Concordia University in Montreal. From 1998 to 2004 he was mayor of the city of Winnipeg . His predecessor in the office of mayor was Susan Thompson , he was succeeded by Sam Katz . Since February 4, 2010, Murray has been a member of the Ontario Legislative Assembly. Since August 2010 he has been Minister for Research and Innovation in the Province of Ontario . Murray is a member of the Ontario Liberal Party .

Murray is married to Rick Neves and has one child. He lives in Toronto with his family .
