Glenn Williams is a sound engineer .
Life
Williams began his career in the early 1980s and made his debut in 1980 with the cult film Blues Brothers by John Landis . His main focus was the film, but he was also occasionally active in television productions. In the mid-1980s he was involved in two major Hollywood successes with The Color of Money and The Untouchables .
1991 he was responsible for Backdraft - men who pass through the fire together with Gary Summers , Randy Thom and Gary Rydstrom for the Oscar in the category Best Sound nominated, but the award went this year to James Cameron's Terminator 2 - Judgment Day .
Williams retired from the film business in 1996.
