The Lebed Lake (from English glider , hang glider ' ) is a triangular, 500 m long and up to 150 m wide Salzwassersee at the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . It is located on the south bank of Taynaya Bay in the Vestfold Mountains and is a meromictic body of water with a depth of 9 m .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it in 1995 after its shape, which is reminiscent of a hang glider .
