The Gliensee is a lake 4.5 km west of Röbel / Müritz in the Mecklenburg Lake District .

The water has a size of 5.7 ha and is 69.5  m above sea level. NHN . The maximum size of the elongated, crescent-shaped lake is 480 meters by 150 meters. At the southwest end, which belongs to the municipality of Bütow , a ditch flows into the lake, at the northern end in the area of ​​Röbel / Müritz, a ditch drains to the Rohrteich and from there on over the Groß Keller See and the Kellerbach to the Müritz .

The lake is completely surrounded by Glienholz, in the middle of which the slightly marshy valley with the Gliensee runs. Several land forces run near the lake. You can see it from the Glienholz circular hiking trail that starts at Röbel harbor.
