Globocnik Bridge
The so-called Globocnik Bridge was a partially implemented plan by Odilo Globocnik . This wanted to create a settlement bridge between East Prussia and Transylvania . Odilo Globocnik was SS and police leader of the Lublin district in occupied Poland ( Generalgouvernement ). The aim was, according to the quote: "To initiate a population-political crushing of Poland". The general government should be ethnically sealed off to the east. The annexation of the Bialystok district and the incorporation of East Galicia into the General Government served this purpose . Attempts to implement this plan were only made in the Lublin area and in the Zamosch area ( Aktion Zamość ).
