history

The bell tower was built in 1925 because the place had no church building. The bells , the clockwork and the tower are made of cast iron. The iron scaffolding tower is embedded in a concrete foundation. The clock consists of four large dials; underneath there is the larger, 60 kilogram bell for the full hours. The smaller bell above the clock strikes the quarter of an hour. Since the inauguration on July 17, 1925, the bell has been ringing for prayer in the morning, at noon and in the evening. In the past, this ringing of prayer was done by hand by a commissioned community citizen. In the 1980s, the bell tower was renovated and an electric bell was installed.
