Gloria Koennick

Gloria Köpnick (* 1988 in Elmshorn ) is a German art historian , curator and author .

Life

Gloria Köpnick studied art history at the Free University of Berlin from 2007 to 2014 . Since 2014 she has worked at the State Museum for Art and Cultural History Oldenburg . Köpnick's research focus is classical modernism . She researched the life paths and careers of the Oldenburg Bauhaus members Hin Bredendieck , Hermann Gautel and Karl Schwoon and in 2019 curated the exhibition “Between Utopia and Adaptation. The Bauhaus in Oldenburg ”.

Köpnick wrote two books, numerous scientific articles and edited several publications. She is a reviewer for the Kunstbuchanzeiger and author for the Villa Grisebach auction house in Berlin. She worked as a lecturer for the University of Oldenburg and the Jade Hochschule Oldenburg .
