Gloriana was an American country band from Nashville .

Band history

The two brothers Tom and Mike Gossin come from Utica, New York State. As children they learned piano and guitar and during school they played in different bands. Tom began studying music at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and then went on to become a solo singer. Mike followed him after a while to Wilmington, where he first appeared in a band, later with Tom and her older brother Steve and finally with Tom as a duo.

Together they eventually went to Nashville, where they met Rachel Reinert. Reinert, born in Florida and raised in Georgia, attended an arts school in Santa Ana, California, where her talent for songwriting was discovered. At the age of 15 she already got a contract in Nashville, where she later settled.

Cheyenne Kimball (born July 27, 1990 in Frisco , Texas) grew up in Texas and took part in the national children's competition America's Most Talented Kid on NBC in 2003 and was the winner of the first season. After that, she released an album, performed across the country and got her own show on MTV. At 17, she moved to Nashville. There she discovered the trio at a gig and the four of them formed the band Gloriana.

They applied to the new label of the well-known producer Matt Serletic, who signed them and produced their first album. Their debut single Wild at Heart made it to number 15 in the US country charts in mid-2009. Their debut album, which bears the band name, was released in August and reached number 3 on the album sales charts.

In July 2011, it was announced that Cheyenne Kimball had left the group.

Rachel Reinert left the band at the beginning of 2016.

With the departure of Reinert the brothers Mike and Tom decided to break up the band.
