The Glover Rocks are a group of cliff rocks in the archipelago of the Adelaide and Biscoe Islands off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . They are located northwest of Avian Island off the southern end of Adelaide Island .

The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1964 after John Framcos Glover (* 1940), the third machinist on the research vessel RRS John Biscoe between 1962 and 1963 to support the work of the Royal Navy's hydrographic surveying unit , which this group first mapped in 1963.
