The Glozhene Cove (English; Bulgarian залив Гложене saliw Gloschene ) is a 0.7 km wide and 0.4 km long bay on the northwest coast of Smith Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is west of Cape Smith .
Bulgarian scientists mapped it in 2008. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in the same year after the village of Gloschene and a monastery of the same name , both of which are located in northern Bulgaria .
