Gnaeus Arrius Antoninus
Gnaeus Arrius Antoninus was a Roman politician and senator in the 1st century AD
Antoninus was appointed suffect consul of 69 for the months of July to September under Emperor Nero . Under Emperor Vitellius , Antoninus could then take up the suffect consulate together with Aulus Marius Celsus . Around the year 81 Antoninus was proconsul of Asia . The second suffect consulate most likely fell in 97. Antoninus was married to Boionia Procilla and father of Arria Fadilla and grandfather of the future emperor Antoninus Pius . Antoninus was a poet of Greek epigrams and iambs .
