The House of Sustainability is a project run by the Rhineland-Palatinate Environment and Consumer Protection Ministry in the hamlet of Johanniskreuz in the municipality of Trippstadt in the middle of the Palatinate Forest in the Palatinate Forest-Vosges du Nord biosphere reserve . The aim of the house is to convey the concept of sustainability to its mainly adult visitors. The House of Sustainability is part of the Rhineland-Palatinate Efficiency Network (EffNet), which has set itself the task of improving resource efficiency .
