Gnaeus Claudius Severus (Consul 235)
Gnaeus Claudius Severus was a 3rd century Roman politician and senator .
Severus was from Pompeiopolis in Paphlagonia . Like Tiberius Claudius Quintianus , his colleague in the ordinary consulate of 235, Severus was also related to the Antonine imperial family. His grandfather of the same name had married Annia Aurelia Galeria Faustina around 162/163 , the eldest daughter of the emperor Marcus Aurelius .
