Gnaeus Cornelius Lentulus (Consul 18 BC)
Gnaeus Cornelius Lentulus (* before 61 BC; † 25 ) was a Roman politician and senator .
He was the son of a Lucius Cornelius Lentulus, probably Lucius Cornelius Lentulus Crus , consul 49 BC. In the year 18 BC He held the ordinary consulate of the year together with Publius Cornelius Lentulus Marcellinus .
Probably around the year 11 AD he undertook a campaign against the Dacians and Geten on behalf of Augustus, and later he also fought back the Sarmatians . In old age he was good friends with Emperor Tiberius .
His son was Cossus Cornelius Lentulus , consul of the year 1 BC. Chr.
