Gnowellen is a place in the Australian state of Western Australia . It is located about 82 kilometers northeast of Albany . The place is located in the traditional settlement area of the Aboriginal tribe of the Mineng .
geography
South of the place are Kojaneerup South and Wellstead , east Boxwood Hill and north Monjebup . In the west the place borders on the Stirling Range National Park .
It is over 20 kilometers as the crow flies to the sea in the south. The nature reserves Pallinup Nature Reserve and Mailalup Nature Reserve belong to Gnowellen .
