Gō Sonehara ( Japanese 曽 根 原 郷 , Sonehara Gō ; * October 1, 1993 in Niigata Prefecture ) is a Japanese Nordic combiner .

Sonehara took part in the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2013 in Liberec , Czech Republic . There he won the bronze medal in the team competition together with Gō Yamamoto , Shota Horigome and Takehiro Watanabe . In the Gundersen competition on the normal hill with a subsequent cross-country distance over five kilometers, he finished 24th. On December 12, 2014, he made his debut in the Continental Cup of Nordic Combined in Park City with a 26th place. On January 23, 2015, the World Cup started for the first time in Sapporo . His best result so far in this competition series was 17th place on February 4, 2018 in Hakuba.
