God Mode is a third-person shooter developed by Saber Interactive in collaboration with Old School Games and published by Atlus for Windows, Playstation Network and Xbox Live Arcade in April 2013. The game was developed using the Saber3D engine from Saber Interactive.
action
The character is a descendant of an ancient god who was placed under a curse by Hades that made him human. Now the character has to find a way through the labyrinth of Hades and its demonic inhabitants so that the character can become a god again.
Gameplay
God Mode has online, offline and LAN functions and a co-op mode for up to four players. The character always has two weapons with him and must fight attacking opponents. Self-regenerating health is foregone. Instead, the character finds health, armor and ammunition items. The character has a magical ability.
reception
|
IGN's Richard Corbett praised the level design and co-op functionality, but criticized the game's technical problems and its low replayability.
