Saber Interactive Incorporated is an American video game development studio based in Maplewood, New Jersey . The company has regional offices in Saint Petersburg, Madrid, Minsk and Sundsvall. Saber Interactive has 450 employees since December 2018.

history

Saber Interactive was founded in 2001 by Andrey Iones, Matthew Karch and Anton Krupkin. Karch is the company's managing director. Saber developed and uses a proprietary game engine, the Saber3D Engine, which was first used in TimeShift (2007). In October 2019, Bigmoon Entertainment was acquired by Saber Interactive. Bigmoon Entertainment is a video game development studio based in Porto . Bigmoon Entertainment has been renamed Saber Porto. In February 2020, Saber Interactive was acquired by Embracer Group for $ 525 million.
