SnowRunner

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

SnowRunner is a vehicle simulation video game featuring off-road vehicles developed by Saber Interactive and published by Focus Home Interactive on April 28, 2020. It is the direct successor to the game MudRunner published in 2017 .

Style of play

Similar to its predecessor, SnowRunner is an off-road vehicle simulation video game in which the aim is to drive through muddy, icy, unpaved roads and bodies of water in various all -terrain vehicles and with the help of a map and to perform various tasks in the process. This time, the missions build on each other, so you explore the area and reveal the map using observation towers. Bridges are built that will later be used to transport bulky loads.

The progression system has also been significantly revised so that the vehicle fleet continues to grow over the course of the game. By completing missions you collect experience points and money, which you can use to buy new cars to complete larger missions.

There is both a single player and a multiplayer co-op mode. In co-op, however, only the session host receives progress; up to three other players only receive experience points and money.

Sales figures

The positive trend in ratings is also reflected in the sales figures. SnowRunner has already sold over 1 million times on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC within the first three weeks. The direct predecessor MudRunner only sold half a million copies in a period of 2 months.
