Data
The modification Red Orchestra: Combined Arms by the then nameless development team won the main prize in the Make Something Unreal competition sponsored by nVidia . In 2005 the developers founded the Tripwire Interactive studio. Her first product that was sold in retail was Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 : It was sold from March 16, 2006 on Valve's distribution platform Steam and as a DVD version in the store. Like the modification Combined Arms , Ostfront 41-45 uses the Unreal Engine (version 2.5). For the successor to Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad was Unreal Engine 3 licensed. The multiplayer shooter was released on September 13, 2011 via various online sales platforms, followed by the retail version in Germany on September 16. Tripwire's second track, Killing Floor , was released on March 14, 2009. Like Red Orchestra , Killing Floor began as a UT2004 mod.
