Klaus Scheidel (born June 5, 1970 in Kaiserslautern ; † August 31, 2011 ) was a German archer .

Career

Klaus Scheidel was a master carpenter by profession. He started for the Federal Republic of Germany at the World Field Archery Championship in Dahn and won the world title in the Bowhunter Recurve class in August 2010. Scheidel was a member of the TFC Kaiserslautern and in February 2011 came fifth when it was voted Rheinpfalz Athlete of the Year 2010.
