Godfred Donsah (born June 7, 1996 in Accra ) is a Ghanaian football player . The central midfielder and one-time senior international is under contract with FC Bologna . He is loaned to Cercle Bruges in the 2019/20 season.

Career

Donsah moved in 2012 from DC United Agogo to Europe for US Palermo . There he played a year in the A-Jugend and then moved to the first division team Hellas Verona . On April 19, 2014, he made his debut in a 2-1 win against Atalanta Bergamo in Serie A. For the 2014/15 season , Donsah went to league rivals Cagliari Calcio , for whom he won a 2-1 home win against AC on January 11, 2015 Cesena scored his first goal in professional football. At the beginning of the 2015/16 season , Donsah was awarded to FC Bologna , which signed him at the end of the season.

In the 2018/19 season he was only actually on the pitch in six of the 38 Bologna league games, and only in one of these six games over the entire duration. In mid-August 2019, it was loaned to the Belgian first division company Cercle Bruges for one year with a subsequent purchase option .

National team

Donsah took the Ghanaian U-20 national team in 2015 at the U20 World Championship in New Zealand in part. He was used in all four games of his team and reached the round of 16 with her .

On November 12, 2017 Donsah made his debut in a 1-1 draw in the World Cup qualifier against Egypt in the senior national team . Since then he has not been appointed to the national team.
